An adorable, quick and easy baby blanket I based on the story my Grandma used to tell me of where I came from!
“I found you under a cabbage leaf!”
This blanket is very much like what I imagined my cabbage leaf as!
The bands of single crochet give this leaf the cupped shape of the cabbage! The big bite where the sweet little inchworm is crawling along the edge of the leaf, eating as he goes, it’s an adorable touch that’s sure to make this cutie a big hit!
Made with Super Bulky Bernat Baby Blanket yarn, it’s easy to make in an evening!
I approximately 330 yards of lemon lime for the blanket and worm, less than half of the skein of Fun Fur,(1.75 oz.) White, and just a few yards or so of Bernat Baby Blanket, White.
Stitches used include slst, sc, hdc, dc, increase, decrease, picot.
