Hello, sailors!!! This is a pattern that I have dreamed of making for YEARS and I am so happy to have finally done it.
Cabinmates is knit from the top down in the round featuring short row shaping for the back neck, a bold sailor motif and a striped body and sleeves.
This design is unisex and size inclusive and includes instructions on how to modify for your perfect body and sleeve lengths as desired. The fit is designed to be oversized with a deep yoke. Sizing down is not recommended for this design.
The pattern for the matching skirt shown in the pictures is in the works.
The yarn I used for my sample can be found at The Wandering Flock Merino DK. It’s lovely!!
Many thanks to Olga Buraya-Kefelian (olgajazzy for the fantastic name suggestion!
Thanks to the lovely testers for lending their time and talent!! <3
