Cardigan is worked in six pieces: one body border, one body, two sleeve borders, and two sleeves. Borders are worked from side to side. Body and sleeve sts are picked up along the long straight edge of borders. Body is worked in one piece and back and forth on a circular needle to armhole. Piece is then divided into one back and two fronts, and each is worked separately. After pieces are completed and assembled, sts are picked up along the right front, around the neck, and down the left front and a garter st border is added.

GAUGE: Pat sts A, B, and C, larger needles: 25 st=5”, 35” = 5”’; St st, larger needles: 25 sts = 5”; 35 rows = 5”.
