The panels of cables in this hat are separated by a right twist column (worked without a cable needle). The cable pattern is incorporated nicely into the crown shaping. You may work the entire cable pattern from either the written text or the chart. If you want to shorten the hat a bit, omit a few of the rounds between Rounds 8 and 18; just make sure you omit an even number of rounds so that the right twist works out correctly.

The cable pattern is presented in written and charted formats.
