MATERIALS:

  • 1 skein of 100% Merino Fingering weight yarn (the skein used was 50 grams).
  • 3.0 mm and 3.5mm knitting needles (can be circular needles if it’s more comfortable to knit flat with them.
  • Thin cable needle (either 3.0 mm or anything close to match the needles used to knit the gloves).
  • 3.0 mm DPNs for the thumb ribbing.

These fingerless gloves are perfect for those of us who still have trouble knitting in the round with DPNs. Although used for the thumb, the rest is all knitted flat! They are very soft and warm for those cold days outside. The pattern is made left handed! Though right handed folks shouldn’t have any problem.

EDIT!: The pattern I uploaded only shows for one hand! I’m so sorry about that. To make the other hand simply swap the sides where you make your cables.
