This is a pattern for a cable-lace turtleneck scarf. that’s made using a sport weight yarn. However, the turtleneck aspect of the scarf keeps you warm on even the coldest days. The cable lace stitch that is used in this scarf is both charted and written out line by line. There is also an optional crocheted edging (instructions for which are included in the pattern). The stitch itself causes a subtle, but very pretty scallop at the bottom of each of the panels.

Skill Level (for scarf): Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting)
Skill Level for Edging: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of Single Crochet)

The yarn used in the sample is Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport in the colorway, Dobson.

The scarf was expertly pattern tested by Alison Ziegler who can be contacted at: alisonzknits@gmail.com, and is known on Ravelry as ATexasYarn.
