This pattern is for a pair of socks that is knit from the top (cuff) down on two circular needles, with an optional 12-inch needle. The stitch used is a fairly unique cable pattern, making it look like “fence links”. These socks are fun to make, especially for cable-lovers, and even more fun to wear and show off.

The directions are written for all three sizes by gauge.

Skill Level: Intermediate - Intermediate + (assuming a basic knowledge of knitting, cabling).

The instructions are both written out line by line, and charted. The pattern is available for purchase online.

The yarn used to make the sample pair is Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock yarn in the colorway called Periwinkle.

This pattern was expertly tested by Dianne Speller who can be contacted at: sewgirly@ msn.com, and who is known on Ravelry as Sockalicious.
