A simple cable knitted pumpkin knitted seamlessly bottom-up in the round.

Materials

Yarn: DK/worsted weight yarn in two colors (for pumpkin and stem)
/For rusty red pumpkin (DK) I used about 75m (30g) of some leftover Lana Gatto Merinocot in color 14020 and a bit of light brown sock yarn held double for the stem/
/For green pumpkin (worsted) I used about 100m (40g) of De Rerum Natura Gilliatt in color forêt and a little bit of Lana Gatto Nuovo Irlanda in color 10022 for the stem/

Needles: 3.5mm(DK)/4mm(worsted) DPNs or long circular needles to work magic loop, cable needle

Gauge: Gauge is not that important but you need your stitches to be rather tight so that the filling does not come out. You can also substitute the yarn for different weights and accordingly substitute the needles to obtain a pumpkin of a different size.

Other materials: filling, tapestry needle, stitch marker
