This is a pattern to make your own Santa or Elf hat. The brim is knit first and connected in a circle by grafting. Then the main body of the hat is picked up from one side of the brim.
This pattern hat 2 variations, one where the brim folds up and one where it is flat. The sizes go from 6 months to adult.
This pattern is for personal use only.

Difficulty: Intermediate
Yarn: Red Heart, Super Saver. Sample made with aran and a dark red.
Needles: Size US 6/ 4mm 16” circular needles and set of double point needles
Notions: yarn needle, cable needle, crochet hook for provisional cast on, small amount of waste yarn, pompom if desired.
Gauge: 16 st/24 rows = 4 inches in St St
Size: 6 month(toddler, child, adult)
