Worked toe-up with a gusset and heel-flap, these combine my favorite ways of knitting socks. Mirrored Inishmore cables running down the sides give an elegant look, while a simple seed stitch variation breaks up the stockinette back and sole.

Sizes can be adjusted easily in the seed stitch part of the socks, without affecting the cable pattern.

Yarn: 1 skein of Mayflower Luxus Sock Yarn (75% Wool 25% Nylon; 433 yards 396 meters/100 g) or approx. 433 yards 396 meters of fingering weight yarn. The sample shown is size 39 and used 325 yards 297 meters or 75 g in the colorway ‘Schokolade’.

You can use any other fingering weight sock yarn. The stitch pattern is best visible on slightly variegated or solid yarn.

Needles: US 1/ 2.25 mm long circular needles for magic loop

Other Notions: beg. of the round marker, 2 removable stitch marker, cable needle, tapestry needle
