This pattern requires 2 strands of yarn held together. One side is knit first and slipped onto a holder, and then is attached to the other knitted side and the instep is knitted on. The sole is knitted separately and sewn on, and then stitches are picked up for ribbing the cuff. The back of the slipper is then seamed. A cable needle, stitch holders, and a yarn needle are required.
