Cable sweater
This sweater pattern was created with Knittable.com
The Knittable Sweater is a raglan sweater knitted in the round from the top down, with increases on both sides of the raglans to shape the yoke. The fit and length can be adjusted to your liking. The neckband can be plain or folded, and shaping with short rows is optional. A pattern repeat for the body can be added.

The yarn worked as the inspiration for this sweater – I bought this beautiful tweed yarn from BC Garn and wanted to make a classic simple cable sweater for my 3-year-old.
I started by making a swatch where I also tried out the cables (4 stitch cables with moss stitch around them). Then I typed in the gauge and measurements to Knittable sweater pattern tool and started knitting! For the cables, I decided to do a simple 4 stitch cable starting from the raglans, twisting the cable every 6 rounds. When the yoke grew, I added another cable, with 10 stitches of moss stitch between the cables.
I used the Knittable Sweater Tool to create the pattern, with these design settings:
- Folded neckband
- Single ribbing
- 1 raglan stitches
