Cables dancing together - in and out, like people we meet in life or on the dance floor.

There are three sizes for this mitten: 38 stitch, 42 stitch, and 46 stitch. Made with worsted or aran weight yarn, about 4.5-5.5 stitches per inch, you’ll have a women’s small, women’s medium/large, and a men’s medium/large.

In testing, the smallest yardage for the small mittens was 110 yards and the largest yardage for the large mittens was 170 yards. The headband will add another 60 yards if you make the set.

Because of the cabling, there is a lot of flexibility in the mitten. For best fit, choose a size to match the length rather than the width of your hand. Most mittens are made with a US size 4 or 5. The matching headband should be make with a much larger size - US 9 or 10. As always, different knitting styles, yarn and tension could cause gauges to differ!
