Cable Wristwarmer

Worked in the round these simple wristwarmers are the perfect introduction to Cumbria Fingering and an opportunity to experiment with cables. The simple cables are easy to work and create a lovely feature on the mitts. The cables can be worked with or without a cable needle, giving you chance to develop your knitting skills.

The Fibre Co. Cumbria Fingering (60% merino wool, 30% masham wool, 10% mohair; 300 m (328 yd) per 100 g hank)
in Scafell Pike - 1 hank

NEEDLES
3mm (US 2.5) circular needle or double-pointed needles for working a small circumference in the rnd (or size to obtain gauge)
Cable needle (optional)

TENSION
29 sts and 40 rnds to 10 cm (4 in) measured over st st using 3mm (US 2.5) needles.
