Cabled Cottage Socks
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This pattern uses two skeins of Bernat Sox Multi. The pattern is written for a lefty like me. Your stitches will slant differently from mine if you are right-handed.
The original sock yarn was discontinued many years ago, but any sock yarn that is a tad heavier than usual or is a #2 on the yarn band should be fine.
This sock is a little on the thick side, owing to the cables on both the leg and the top of the foot. It was designed to be a nice warm sock for padding around the house in the fall and winter. I have worn these in boots, though, in years gone by.
