The ‘Cabled Glint Socks’ are cute, textured cable socks enriched by a touch of stellina! They feature two types of slip-stitch cables that draw attention while letting the variegated yarn shine. I chose slip stitches because they are especially suited for variegated yarn as they disrupt the routine of the pattern and help combat any undesired color pooling. These socks are designed to show off all the bold and subtle color changes in a beautifully hand-dyed skein of yarn.

Construction:
The socks have a simple toe-up and in-the-round construction that starts at the tip of the toe using Judy’s Magic Cast-On to create rounded toes and feature short row heels. The pattern is written to be worked using Magic Loop method: the top of the foot is worked across the first needle and the sole of the foot is worked across the second needle. If preferred, DPNs can be used instead: work instructions for instep across first and second DPNs, work sole stitches across third and fourth DPNs.
