This pattern is a cabled scarf of hearts and loops, that is made out of a chunky wool that makes it so squishable and warm for those cold winter months. I prefer my scarfs shorter, however if you want your scarf longer than 50 inches, go right ahead, you will just need more yarn than what I have used in my pattern. I used two balls of the King Cole Chunky Tweed yarn.
