This pattern is very quick to work up and a great gift idea!

I created this pattern with men in mind. I needed a handmade gift idea for all the men in my life and came up with this. The cables give it a unique look and it’s perfect for inserting their favorite bar of soap. I plan on stuffing all of mine with yummy smelling old spice bars. In the pattern you have the choice of doing the cables or skipping them, 2 different ways to make the handle, rope or i-cord and instructions on making it different lengths. Please do not be intimidated by the cables! All you need to know how to do is front post double crochet and front post triple crochet, there are lots of pictures to help you along the way.

You MUST obtain gauge in order for the size measurements to work. To check your gauge either start the project or work up a swatch, use measuring tape to determine how many stitches and rows you have per inch. Adjust accordingly (change hook size) until your stitches match up to mine. I tend to crochet loose so you will most likely need to go up a hook size with my patterns.
