This scarf is worked back and forth from the bottom up with the pattern repeats mirroring from the center back. The cable pattern repeats are in both written and chart form. The first stitch of each row is slipped making a nice straight edge. You will work from one section to another in the alternating patterns for a number of repeats. The stitch structure for each pattern will create different widths throughout the scarf. This can be remedied through wet blocking out the scarf to the same width after it is finished.
