CABOCHON SOCKS
This design was inspired by a beautiful skein of yarn that I purchased from Copeland Yarn in the Jewel colour way. Lynne is a new dyer but her yarn is gorgeous. The texture on these socks is created by twisted knit stitches on a background of reverse stocking stitch. The circles in the Jewel colour way brought to mind the rounded cut of cabochon gems.

This pattern is the next step on from vanilla socks and is suitable for the adventurous beginner sock knitter.
