I designed this cardigan to accompany the Cabot Dress, featured in By Hand Serial Lookbook No. 9, as the perfect three-season combination. I love wearing sleeveless sundresses, but I always need something to throw over them if it’s chilly in the morning, or when the sun goes down in the evening. The Cabot Cardigan is designed a little longer, with a slight A-shaped silhouette, to echo the shape of the dress. And, of course, it’s got nice, deep pockets! It’s sewn together to show exposed sleeves, with reverse stockinette facing out, but it’s truly double sided, and could be worn stockinette-side facing as well.
