Cacambo tank top is a marled top that allows for the blending of yarns and colors that allows the yarn to do the work, while keeping the knitting itself fun and easy. Please note that the top is knit while holding two strands of yarn for the entire top.

The character Cacambo from Voltaire’s novel, Candide, was the inspiration for my top. Cacambo is a trustworthy and practical character; similarly, this tank top is a great practical piece, as it can be used as a tank top or layering piece (over a dress, as a vest, etc)!

Similar to my other patterns in the Candide Knits collection, this piece is a simple to knit piece that looks more complicated than it really is. You can find the complete collection here.
