Worked here in DK, this shawl can be worked in yarns of different thicknesses. Wrap it loosely or tightly as the weather demands.

The lace is worked first, then stitches are picked up along the straight egde. The centre of the shawl is then shaped using short rows.

MATERIALS
100g DK yarn
5 mm needles
smaller needle to pick up sts

SIZE
8” wide at the widest point and 58” long

TENSION
14 sts and 28 rows to 4” over garter stitch after washing and blocking
