I designed this pattern with the desire to make something other than a blanket with some of the softer 10 ply cake yarns that change colour. I didn’t like the way that they suddenly changed colour on a square, but in a swirl, I loved it!! The cold weather where I live meant that having a garment that I could place over a jumper if wanted or just by itself for a bit of extra warmth.

The size and drape for it is great for all sizes, and you can make them slightly smaller or larger simply by changing the hook size and trying it on when you have the worked the neck hole!!

I used a Lincraft Cakes for this item, so that the item is easy to wash and wear! The yarn itself is Acrylic, but thick and soft and measures to a 10ply. The colour ways I used was a Black Grey White, and a rainbow colour way. And found that three balls of each where needed.
