Classy and simple, these socks utilize a cable reminiscent of waves, which immediately made me think of the water planet Caladan from the “Dune” novels. This pattern utilizes two different yet simple leg patterns to make the cable pattern stand out on each sock. An afterthought heel allows the cable to continue uninterrupted, while the repetitive pattern makes a wonderful first cable pattern. They’re great for TV knitting (perhaps while watching the upcoming Dune show!)
