Calan Mai is a cozy slouchy hat designed to have about 2-3”
(5-7.5cm) negative ease. The finished hat will measure approximately 10”/25cm long.

Directions are given for knitting with both DK and worsted weight yarns:

Worsted weight yarn, approx. 203yds/200m, 100g

Or

DK weight yarn, approx. 230yds/211m, 100g

If you’d like your hat to match the Calan Mai Cowl, use 1 skein fingering and 1 skein mohair lace held double (work as for DK)
