CHILDREN’S JACKET

A classic shawl-collared jacket for children’s smart casual wear in cold weather, thick and warm, with a close weave that is resistant to chilly frosts and winds. The front edges can be adjusted either to meet at the centre or to overlap for extra warmth. Tailored for comfort with a fitted collar, sloping shoulders, tapered raglan sleeves, adjustable hem length, and either a straight body profile or an optional method to shape the waist for both boys and girls. The jacket is worked seamlessly from the top downwards in a neat moss stitch that holds its shape well. Construction is easy with minimal short-row shaping in the collar and simple working of further components onto each other. For more adventurous makers, included is an optional textured surface embellishment for application to the base layer.
