A snood is a neck warmer long enough to wear as a hood to cover the head, or just as a cowl or scarf.

The California Dreamin’ Snood is lightweight, stylish and fun to make us think of sunny California with its Boho-Chic style. Made with DK weight yarn, it is light enough for Spring days and Summer nights. These instructions show how to make your Snood in an infinity (wrapping twice around the neck) or cowl style. The stitch pattern is on a seven row repeat with lovely open and slip stitches combines with sc and dc stitches.

This Snood is part of my California Dreamin’ Collection. Check out all the designs in this collection; the California Dreamin’ Cowl, the California Dreamin’ Beanie, the California Dreamin’ Gloves and California Dreamin’ Boot Cuffs/Leg Warmers, which are all available now in my Ravelry Shop.
