Do you know what this pattern is? It’s FREE! Free! You don’t have to pay for it, isn’t that great!

I needed to make a hat for the kind of person who really needed a hat with not only fornicating deer but also swear words. It took me a long time to work out all the details to make this hat. Ages. And I figured that someone else might want to make one too so why not write it down.

I borrowed/stole/used the wonderful fornicating deer motif from Anne Rutten - a lady clearly far more clever than myself

This hat is a simple beanie/toque knitted in the round in two colours. Start at the bottom with twisted rib (feel free to do standard rib if you aren’t as twisted) to the length of your choosing then into the charted pattern and top with a pompom. Pretty simple really.

The pattern used about 55g of yarn including the pompom. It feels like there must be a mistake to have used so little yarn in a full sized hat but that’s what the scales say…
