The Calla Top is an “everyday style” spring top that makes a lovely layering piece. The top features a simple reverse stockinette stitch, where the purl side is the right side of the garment. Garter Stitch is also used as a design feature along the bottom, shoulders, and “fake” side seams. To make this top seamless, The bottom is worked in the round up until the underarms, where it is worked back and forth in two flat pieces. A 3-needle bind-off is also used to finish the shoulders at the end of the project.
