The Callaghan Cowl is the perfect accessory for transitioning between seasons. The elegant yet uncomplicated colourwork is suitable for all genders and as a first colourwork project but interesting enough for those more experienced with stranded knitting.

The cowl pattern was written for Yama Fibre Arts Merino Linen Singles, a lovely fingering weight drapey yarn with a rustic texture which gives a soft, blended look to the colour and is a great weight for spring or autumn.

Suggested Yarns:
Yama Fibre Art Merino Linen Singles, (90% superwash merino, 10% linen), 394 yds/360 m per 100g
MC: Espresso 60g
CC: Champagne Blush 40g

Yardage:
MC: 236 yds
CC: 158 yds

Experiment with yarn pairings for a high contrast, low contrast, or anything in between! There are some beautiful versions of the cowl in the Ravelry projects.
