As I continue to craft new garments and patterns, my stash of scrap yarn grows. Some time ago, I designed a pattern that efficiently utilized my wool scraps: the Electric Feel Cardi, which was a success. Now, with a stock of cotton scrap yarn on hand and inspired by 70s beachwear fashion advertisements, the Calli Shorts were born.
These funky shorts are designed to be the perfect garment for sunny summer days by the beach. Crocheted using the half double crochet stitch for ample coverage and finished with an edging that adds a special touch, the Calli Shorts are a perfect mix of style, comfort, and sustainability.
