A ladies’ Fair Isle style hat and fingerless mittens set, with the mittens sized for warmth + access, covering all but the fingertips.

Spindrift yarn packs, in the original colors, are available here.

Needle suggestions from the pattern:

                             ribbing main

looser knitters: US size 1½ / 2.5mm US size 2 / 2.75mm
tighter knitters: US size 2 / 2.75mm US size 2½ / 3.0mm

Note: I used one 40” long circular needle with the “magic loop” technique, but you can use two circulars, or double-pointed needles, if you prefer. Use whatever size needle gets the above gauge!

Colors shown and included in kit:

One 25g ball each of: Ginger #462, Scotch Broom #1160, Caspian #760, Eesit #105 and
Two 25g balls of Shaela #102

If you’re only making either the hat or the mittens, you’ll only need one ball of Shaela.
