Calliope Shawl
BEGINNER-FRIENDLY ASYMMETRICAL CROCHET SHAWL!
With its asymmetrical shape, musical color inspiration, and breathable drape, the Calliope Shawl is more than just a summer accessory—it’s a joyful nod to spontaneity, playfulness, and comfort. Featuring hand-dyed sock weight yarn, this lightweight shawl is perfect for layering. Settle into a relaxing project with a 2-row repeat of simple stitches and dynamic color changes that will keep you engaged.
The pattern utilizes five colorways, one full 400-yard/100-gram skein and four 200-yard/50-gram skeins, making this a great stash buster project if you have smaller amounts of yarn. I used the majority of each of the five colorways for this design. Although each side features a distinct texture, there is no wrong side or right side to this reversible lightweight asymmetrical crochet shawl. In fact, it looks quite lovely worn either way!
