Callistemon Mittens, a unisex textured fingerless mitten design, was inspired by my need to have a bright pop of colour in my life on dreary winter days. It features a textured hand and two finger cuff options, short and long. Photos show the long version which is deep enough to cover the fingers and can be folded back out of the way.

Fancy a matching beanie? Callistemon Beanie is also available.

Yarn: 95 (122, 152, 185, 220) yds/86 (111, 239 168 200) m approximately required for the short cuff version. An extra 25 (32, 38, 45, 50) yds/22 (29, 34, 41, 45) m extra required for the long cuff.

Sample Uses: The Verdant Gryphon Traveller (100% Merino, 280 yds/256m, 113g) in Painted Grasshawk.

Sizes: xs (s, m, l, xl)

To Fit: 5 (6, 7, 8, 9) inch/12.5 (15, 18, 20.5, 23) cm circumference wrist.

Finished Sizes: 4.5 (5.75, 6.75, 8, 9.25) inches/11.5 (14.5, 17, 20.5, 23) cm circumference.

Sample: shows long cuff version in size ‘s’ on a 6 inch/15 cm circumference wrist.

Fun Fact: Callistemon is the genus name of an Australian wildflower, the Bottlebrush, so named because it looks like exactly that. It can be found in bright red, pink or white.
