Calmness is a circular yoke vest with a close-fitting neckline and a deep split hem. It is worked top down, in the round, on the yoke and body. After the yoke it is worked flat until you reach the underarm, then back and front are joined and worked in the round until you reach the side slits, where you work back and front separately again. The charted pattern is worked on the front only. The armholes are finished with twisted rib.
