YES! It’s CROCHET! The Calyx Beanie was inspired by the anatomy of a flower (hence the name). The calyx is the part of the flower that surrounds the growing bud/petals. Aesthetically, it features a scalloped brim in order to reflect this floral anatomy. It also features mirrored short row shaping and a sophisticated 1x1 knit-like texture. Although this Spring-inspired design is more feminine, it could easily be a gender-neutral piece. It’s the perfect selfish crochet project and a great unique gift for loved ones!
