This shawl is inspired by the exquisite and ornate camellia caisson ceiling pattern from Cave 201 of the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang. The design features a structured camellia motif, elegantly complemented by a delicately woven fringe below, balancing density and openness in perfect harmony.

For the color palette, we drew from the earthy hues of Dunhuang murals—ochre red, burnt sienna, azurite blue, and gamboge yellow—each shade enhancing the others while blending naturally. The result is a piece that exudes timeless elegance and understated sophistication.
