Camellia Scarf is a lightweight, elegant accessory designed to be worn close to the neck. It is worked flat from one short end to the other, with a gently asymmetrical construction that widens and then mirrors itself toward the finish.

The pattern is highly adjustable. Both length and width can be modified using clearly indicated sections of the chart. While the original sample was designed as a light, spring and early-autumn scarf, the construction also allows you to create a warmer, more substantial winter version by choosing thicker yarns.

The sample is worked with two strands held together — a merino base and a strand of silk mohair. The mohair adds softness, lightness, and a refined halo that gives the fabric a subtle, sophisticated finish. However, as the scarf is worn directly against the skin, it is important to choose yarns that you personally find comfortable and non-irritating.

Finished measurements (sample):
Width: 14 cm / 5.5 in
Length: 134 cm / 52.8 in

The pattern includes full written instructions (row by row) as well as detailed charts with consistent row numbering. It is written using standard US knitting terminology.
