The Camellia Top is a delicate eyelet cami with a square neck, a low scooped back and dainty mock-cable straps.

Worked bottom-up in the round in soft fingering-weight merino, it combines a smooth doubled-strand bust panel with an allover eyelet “flower” body, folded edges and a pretty low back. It’s designed with a close, stretchy fit - lovely on its own for summer, or layered under a cardigan.

Graded across 8 sizes (XS–4XL) with a size chart and schematic to help you choose.

This pattern includes

  • Written row-by-row instructions AND a full-colour eyelet lace chart

  • Size schematic + finished-measurements table

  • Step-by-step guidance for the folded hem, folded bust edge, doubled bust panel and picked-up mock-cable straps

Techniques: knitting in the round, eyelet lace (chart + written), picking up stitches, holding yarn double, folded facings, a simple mock cable. Suitable for a confident beginner ready to try lace.

You’ll need: fingering-weight yarn with good elasticity (sample in Knitting for Olive Merino, 250 m / 50 g); approx. 430-950 m; 3 mm (US 2.5) circulars; stitch markers, tapestry needle.
