THIS NEAT, blocky cardigan by Mary
Henderson has an attractive stranded
colourwork pattern, and is fastened at
the top with hidden hooks and eyes for
a sophisticated look. The alpaca-mohair
yarn from The Border Mill gives a soft
drape to the fabric. The garment is
knitted in one piece to the armholes;
the sleeves are picked up from the
armhole and knitted downwards,
using short rows to make a fitted cap.
