Knitting Pattern for a Short Wrap Cardigan with a Cute i-Cord-Bow and Short Sleeves in Sizes XS | S | M (L | XL | 2XL) 3XL | 4XL | 5XL.

Structure:
The summery wrap blouse is worked in stockinette stitch top down in one piece. The yoke is shaped with raglan increases and additional increases to shape the neckline of the front parts to make them overlap. The increase rate therefore is steadily rising to achieve a good fit for all sizes. As soon as the sleeves are separated from the body, there are only worked increases along the front parts for the wrap-look of the blouse. When the final width of the front part is reached, you work for a few more centimeters back and forth in stockinette stitch, until you reach the desired length of your blouse. Then, stitches are bound off with an i-Cord-Bind-Off and the edges along the. Front panels are finished off with an applied i-Cord-Edging. Additionally, you work cute i-Cord-Straps to close the side of the wrap blouse with a little bow. The other side is closed with a snap fastener. Then, the sleeve sts are picked up and the sleeves are worked in stockinette stitch in the round for a few centimeters. After a bunch of decreases, the sleeves are bound off with an i-Cord-Bind-Off as well – matching the body hem of the blouse.
The fit of the blouse is neutral to slightly oversized with a positive ease of 5 to 10 cm for the smaller sizes and neutral ease of the larger sizes. If you prefer, you can adjust the fit of the cardigan due to the placement of the bow – or you can work the smaller/larger size in comparison to your bust circumference. The length is relatively short and this makes the blouse perfect for any spring and summer outfit with dresses and high waisted trousers and skirts. The wrap look and the I-Cord-Bow are feminine and romantic details of the simple cardigan.
