Knitting Pattern for a Wrap Cardigan with a decorative bow, double knitted neckline, hems and cuffs in sizes XS | S | M (L | XL | 2XL) 3XL | 4XL | 5XL.

Structure:
The cardigan is worked in stockinette stitch with raglan increases top down. The yoke is worked back and forth in rows, the raglan increases are worked before and after each raglan stitch and there are additional increases to shape the overlapping front parts. The frequency for the increases is growing steadily. As soon as the sleeves are separated from the body, the increases for the front parts take place in every right side row. When the desired length for your preferred size is reached, the body stitches are put to rest and the neckline is finished off with a double knitted band. Then, the hem is worked in double knitting as well and the bow straps are worked while finishing the double knitted hem.
Now, the resting stitches for the sleeves are picked up and the sleeves are finished in stockinette stitch in the round. Shortly before the cuffs are worked in double knitting, there are a bunch of decreases for a balloon-like sleeve-shape. Finally, snap fasteners are attached to the double knitted hems to the inside of the cardigan.
The fit of the cardigan is slightly loose with a small amount of positive ease (or neutral ease for the larger sizes). Of course, the ease can be adapted individually by choosing larger or smaller sizes in comparison to the individual bust circumference. The length is relatively short to make the wrap cardigan suitable for high waisted trousers and skirts.
