A super versatile waistcoat…for the garden, over a fitted dress, or with jeans!

This is a pattern for a fitted waiscoat worked with or without a picot folded hem (yardage given for folded hem). It is worked from the bottom up with a simple lace pattern that creates a nice curve to your peplum. Continue to work up the torso with some shaping and 4 st lace trim. Finally working straps and grating with the Kitchener st.

There is not a schematic for this pattern, however the length is easily adjusted.
Suggested length is 8/8.5/9/10/10.5/11/11.5 inches (20.5/21.5/23/25.5/29.25 cm) measure from Estonian Braid (which, with the lace detail, is at approximately 3in/7.5cm from folded hem) to armhole shaping and 3 (3.5, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6) inches/7.5 (9, 10, 11.5, 12.7, 14, 15.3) cm from Estonian Braid to bust shaping.
Bust shaping is approximately 3 (3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6) inches/7.5(7.5, 10, 10, 13, 13, 15.25) cm in length from beginning of increases (if you are on gauge).
