From AlterKNITS Felt: When I was growing up, my Aunt Jane owned and operated a riverside restaurant called Camp Rose in an artsy area of Northern California. Every summer my family would visit Aunt Jane for a couple of weeks, and she would always take s to the local thrift stores and garage sales to look for unique items that we could refurbish or reuse in artful ways. Jane and Camp Rose served as my inspiration for these cushions and chair backs, which are made out of recycled sweaters and their own blend of old and new, traditional and contemporary.
