100% KUMASASA (Bamboo), or any other DK weight yarn.
Color A (purple gray): #7 x 7 skeins (175 g/336 m/367 yd) Color B (white): #12 x 2 skeins (50 g/96 m/105 yds)
Needles: 3.00 mm crochet hook (JP 5/0) Other: Tapestry needle, markers
Fabric for handles 56 x 10 cm and for lining 61 x 48 cm (adjust accordingly to finished dimensions), sewing thread in matching color.
Gauge: 18.5 sts and 21 rows = 10 cm (4 in) stitch pattern.
Adjust hook size to obtain gauge.
