A cool breeze floats through the window, making the curtains dance in early morning’s breeze. The door is already open and coffee is finished. Faded and shed , midsummer pine needles of deep orange drift down with the sudden rush of air. A harmony of birds call out, their calls colliding and coalescing to a beautiful song. Water laps languidly at the lake’s edge as the trusty red canoe is hefted overhead for a morning paddle.

Sweater is cast on and worked in the round up to the armholes where work is split and worked flat. Shoulders are rejoined using a 3-needle bind off, sleeves & neckline are picked up & knit in the round.
