Camryn's Rainbow Coverup
This is a pattern for a fun coverup with a somewhat open stitch design. The stitch might look complicated but as long as you can chain, single crochet, and double crochet, you can make this! Although the pattern is written for stripes, it would be adorable as a single color or with fewer colors or different sized stripes.
This pattern is size inclusive, although I have broken it down into three separate patterns. This is for the Girls sizes 2-16. There are also patterns available for Baby/Toddler sizes 3 - 24 months and Women’s sizes XS-5X.
The actual gauge for this pattern is 4 pattern repeats x 16 rows = 5”. It’s a little bit unusual but I’ve found this the most accurate way to ensure the sizing is correct.
If using the suggested yarn, a single skein of each color listed is sufficient except for sizes 14 and 16. For those sizes, an additional skein of Color 1 is needed. The pattern also includes total yardage needed for each size, in case you choose to make a solid color or desire a different color pattern.
