This is about a 12” afghan square when using suggested yarn. It is a “stitch sampler” with the various stitches used representing a province or territory of my home country, Canada. A well-known symbol of Canada is the maple leaf, which is featured in the corners of the square. Released as part of the 2019 Crochet a Block a Week CAL with Julie Yeager. Original design uses 3 colours--mostly red and white, the national colours of Canada. Brief descriptions of the provinces/territories that are part of Canada are included. Enjoy this tour of my country!!
