This asymmetrical, triangular shawl is worked sideways, and has a lovely balance of garter stitch and simple eyelet lace.

Perfect for beginning to advanced knitters, this shawl can be made with just 1 skein of fingering weight yarn. I used a larger needle to create a beautiful, summery drape, but you can use even larger sized needles if you prefer. For a warmer shawl, use a heavier-weight yarn.

This shawl will look beautiful in one colour, or with a gradient yarn. It would also be stunning to use two contrasting colours for the garter and lace sections.

Wrap it as is, or use a shawl cuff or button to secure if you wish.

Enjoy!
